    Obercreek Farm is seeking full/part time farm hands this summer. Duties include weeding, harvesting, washing/packing produce and farmer's market help. Applicants must be able to lift 50lbs, be able to work in all weather conditions, have a positive attitude, ability to work with others and alone, and have a flexible schedule. Obercreek farm is a certified organic farm in its' third year of production. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn about sustainable agriculture on a for-profit farm.   • Seeking Farm Crew Member ASAP for rest of 2015 season

    Maitri Farm ( is hiring a second farm crew member starting as soon as possible through the end of October/early November. The farm crew member's main responsibility will be to assist with the vegetable operation, with some animal chores and farmscape maintenance as well. Hours are roughly 45-50/week, which includes our Saturday morning CSA distribution and/or farmers market, as well as rotating weekends on duty for greenhouse and animal chores.     Carversville Farm Foundation is a hiring an Equipment Operator / Crop Farmer. This position will assist the Farm Manager in regenerating former conventional crop fields and tree nursery to perennial pasture in order to support an Organic, grass-fed dairy in 2018. Duties will include mowing, disking, sub-soiling, rock picking, spreading, spraying, nursery tree removal (plucking and grinding), and land-leveling. Applicants should have significant experience with large farm equipment (100+hp) and an interest in regenerative agriculture.
