    We're interviewing now for the 2016 season at Stonegate Farm, an organic estate farm in the Hudson Valley, one hour outside of NYC, with an active CSA. We grow vegetables, fruit, cut flowers, honey and eggs, and are looking for someone who is self-motivated, hard-working, passionate about organics and sustainable living, outgoing and friendly, and has had at least one season of farm experience. These are two paid positions (couples are welcome to apply) with the opportunity to run your own farm for a season and develop its offerings and reach, with long-term opportunities.     Coppersea Distilling is an award-winning farm distillery in West Park, NY producing whisky and brandy. We also have an organic farm in New Paltz, NY, where we grow corn and small grains, are establishing a pear orchard and raise pastured, heritage-breed pigs for pork.We're seeking a part-time assistant for general distillery duties and some farm labor. The position will develop into a full-time position for the right candidate. Interest/experience in winemaking or homebrewing (beer) beneficial, but not required.   • Farm Manager for New Operation

      Farm manager to develop and run a 47 acre operation in Sullivan County, New York.  The farm is a start-up operation. Farm will be focused on livestock with some vegetable, orchard and maple syrup production. The primary market for the farm’s products will be an affiliated restaurant and inn.  Applicant must be able to perform physical labor,operate machinery, and will be responsible for farm maintenance, financial management, marketing and staff hiring, training and supervision.
