    VINES, a non-profit urban agriculture and community garden organization in Binghamton, NY is seeking an Executive Director. VINES is committed to developing a sustainable and just community food system, and manages 7 community gardens, two urban farms, a summer youth employment program, and a modified low-income CSA. The Executive Director will be the key management position of VINES and is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan of the organization.   • 2016 Farm Crew Positions at Starling Yards

     Starling Yards is a family-operated vegetable farm based on 104 acres just outside the village of Red Hook, NY.  We currently grow 6 acres of vegetables using restorative growing practices for a 75 member CSA and regional wholesale and restaurant accounts. We are currently looking to fill two seasonal, full-time positions beginning in April and ending at Thanksgiving. Compensation is $400/week, plus produce and eggs from the farm with three unpaid vacation days.   • Liberty Farms looking for 2016 Farm Crew, Good Team Members

  • Sylvester Manor Educational Farm Seeks Farm Crew for the 2016 Growing Season

    We are a 225 acre farm located on an island off the eastern coast of Long Island. We raise 3 acres of organic vegetables.     Fishkill Farms is a 150 acre fruit and vegetable farm located in East Fishkill, NY. All of our vegetables, berries, and a portion of our apples are grown organically (the rest of the stone fruit is low-spray eco-apple certified). Produce is marketed through a 300 member CSA, an on-site farm store, on farm pick-your-own, and four farmers markets. The Vegetable Manager oversees all aspects of growing for our multiple outlets on about 15 acres. This is a year-round position for an experienced farmer who is enthusiastic about growing the farm and vegetable operation with us.
