Melissa Danielle, Honeybee Holistic, and Nicole Taylor work to connect farmers to eaters and create opportunities for eaters to engage in food beyond mere consumption. In this session, we will explore community building concepts and events such as GRUB parties, food crawls, cook-offs, and Farmer's Balls that connect participants to local food, taking them on and off the field.

When it comes to marketing to restaurants, personal relationships are everything. Sharon Nagle, Firefly Farm, Dan Martello, Good Luck Restaurant, and Jeff Christiana, New York Wine and Culinary Center, will discuss these relationships from both sides of the equation, off ering tips for producers interested in selling to restaurants or improving their relationships with the chefs who purchase their produce.
