Certification Orientation Workshop in Binghamton, NY

All first year applicants are very strongly encouraged to attend a free Certification Workshop to answer any questions you may have about the crop/livestock/wild crops certification process. They will include a review of the application forms and overview of the National Organic Program Standards.

Since there are space limitations, PLEASE PRE-REGISTER for the Workshop.  you may Pre-register by contacting

Attendees are asked to bring the following:

  • Copy of the current Standards Manual
  • Application Packet for the type of certification you are interested in obtaining
  • Your Field Maps or drafts of maps

NOFA-NY Certified Organic, LLC offers a $25 voucher that may be used towards the organic certification fee for new applicants that attend an organic certification orientation workshop.

Workshops do not cover handler certification
