Scouting and Monitoring for Organic Growers: Tools to Improve Pest and Disease Management
A good scouting and monitoring program is the backbone of a good organic pest control program! Join us to improve your insect and disease scouting techniques, learn scouting protocol, and see tips on insect and disease identification. We will also cover new methods to monitor for pests, become familiar with trapping, see how to better calibrate sprayers to improve spray coverage, and more! On-line resources for monitoring disease movement throughout the northeast and tools to evaluate the efficacy of pesticide applications will also be discussed. Led by Cornell Cooperative Extension Organic Fruit and Vegetable Production Educator, Emily Cook.
