Earth Day Celebration in Victor, NY
Event Details
The Victor PTSA Environment Committee is pleased to announce its Fourth Annual Earth Day Celebration, to be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 (the day after Earth Day) from 6:00-8:00 PM at Victor Junior High School.
This community event is open to the public free of charge and is a great way to promote area businesses and organizations to Victor/Farmington families and those visiting from surrounding areas. In the past, the event has been advertised in the media and has been a great success, drawing hundreds of people eager to learn about living a more sustainable lifestyle. The awareness that you provide our community can potentially be a life-changing opportunity to promote wellness and environmentally conscious behaviors.
We invite you to join us as a vendor at this year's event. We will be inviting 100+ vendors to participate, including General Motors, who, for the last three years, has brought its Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle. We also plan to expand our celebration with the participation of more
students and classes, who are invited to bring environment-related projects for display, and to share their work and knowledge regarding how their choices everyday impact their environment.
Again, we will hold a raffle, have craft activities for the kids and snacks for purchase. We also invite vendors to bring door prizes for raffle. A product sample, free offer, discount coupon, or gift with your organization information attached is another way participation in the event can help promote your
business.
We hope you will join us as a vendor. We promise it will be an exciting night of learning about the earth and the things we can all do to live in more sustainable ways.
Please RSVP to this email by Friday, February 3rd if you will join us. Also, please let us know if you need to be near an electrical outlet. School provided tables are limited - please reply as soon as possible if you cannot bring a table for your use.
