From the Earth - Gardens, Organic Dairy Farm, Crafts, and more
Event Details
Like a garden, "From the Earth" grows each year with new participants and attractions. Be inspired by flower gardens, tour a community supported vegetable garden (CSA) and an organic dairy farm, meet an alpaca whose fleece is processed nearby, visit pottery and woodworking studios, watch a potter throw clay on a wheel and wood being carved, help assemble a timber frame joint made from local wood, learn how to milk a goat and make cheese, take a guided bird walk, enjoy educational activities with the kids, hear live music, purchase perennial plants, organic vegetables, and home baked bread, and have a meal made from locally produced food.
