Genesee Valley Organic Community Supported Agriculture (GVOCSA) has only a few shares left for this year (our 23rd season)! Our final sign-up meeting, will be held on Wednesday April 27th, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the James P.B. Duffy School 12, 999 South Avenue in Rochester. New members attend a 15 minute orientation at 7:00 pm to learn more about how Community Supported Agriculture works. Childcare provided. For more information visit www.gvocsa.org.
Be a part of the Organic Food Movement! Come learn how consumers and farmers join together to "Share the Harvest". Sign-up for a weekly share of local, organic vegetables (nearly 100 varieties) including asparagus, lettuce, spinach, beets, carrots, broccoli, peas, and pumpkins. Our 6 month season goes from May 19th – Nov 13th. Vegetable distribution takes place at Abundance Cooperative Market on Marshall Street and food is grown locally at Peacework Organic Farm in Newark.”
