The Groundswell Community Farm-to-Table Celebration

A delicious and educational experience for the whole family, hosted by the students in Groundswell's TC3 Summer Practicum in Sustainable Farming and Local Food Systems.

     The Farm-to-Table Celebration is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the seasonal bounty of the Finger Lakes while getting better acquainted with the principles of sustainable farming and food justice.  The Celebration will kick off at 4 p.m. with a reception and educational poster display highlighting the students’ final projects.  At 4:30 the students will lead an educational tour of West Haven Farm, an organic CSA farm located right at EcoVillage.  The culminating event, a gourmet locally sourced dinner prepared and served by the students, begins at 6 pm.

PROGRAM:
4-6 pm     - Reception and Poster Display at EcoVillage's Common House
4:30-5:30   - Educational Tour of West Haven Farm
6:00   - Local Foods Dinner prepared by the students.
