Volunteer

NOFA-NY was founded by a group of dedicated farmer volunteers and nearly thirty years later this commitment to service and sharing is still a very important characteristic of how the organization operates.
Volunteering is great way to give back and there are dozens of specific tasks that you can do to help NOFA-NY achieve its mission.

Some of our most frequent volunteer needs are for:

-Completing mailings or assisting with other general office support (Rochester area)
-Representing NOFA-NY at events
-Hosting or coordinating field days
-Recruiting new members
-Fundraising
-Speaking at a local school or community event
-Writing an article for our newsletter New York Organic News
