Policy Work

NOFA-NY’s policy work is conducted for the purpose of advocating for sustainable, organic agriculture and social justice within the New York State food system, as well as to cooperate with the other NOFA chapters on regional, national and international policy development and actions.

The current leadership for policy work consists of an active Policy Committee working together with a part-time staff Policy Coordinator.  Participation in the Policy Committee or in a Policy Sub-Committee is open to all members of NOFA-NY.
