Winter 2008 CSA Regional Gatherings NOFA-NY has organized five regional meetings to help us develop a statewide support network for CSA farms. Join CSA farmers Liz Henderson of Peacework Organic Farm, Scott Chaskey of Quail Hill Farm, Abby Youngblood, our new CSA Network Coordinator, and other CSA farmers from your region! These gathering are an opportunity to network with CSA farmers from the region and to discuss ways to collaborate with each other to create stronger farmer-to-farmer networks. We will identify strategies to educate and build consumer support and increase membership in CSA programs. We will review challenges to CSAs including labor issues. The project is in its beginning stages and we are seeking feedback and ideas. We welcome your input! We are encouraging CSA farmers, active CSA members, former and potential CSA farmers to join us for these gatherings. Feel free to share this information with others who may be interested.
