Who Has Gone Above and Beyond for Organic?

Each year NOFA-NY members have the opportunity to nominate a farmer they believe has gone above and beyond for organic. Our Education Team reviews the nominations and forwards its top three recommendations to the NOFA-NY Board of Directors. The board then selects the winner who is presented with this award at our annual Winter Conference.

The nomination period is over. The 2018 Farmer of the Year will be announced at NOFA-NY's Winter Conference!

Each year during our Winter Conference, we honor a New York State organic farmer as NOFA-NY's ‘Farmer of the Year.’ We celebrate an inspiring farmer who has demonstrated leadership, innovation, and integrity in building a strong organic movement in our state. Here are some of our past recipients:
