Position Description
Share the Harvest Farm is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that donates fresh local produce to community organizations on the East End of Long Island. We currently farm five acres using organic practices, with emphasis on sustainable farming methods. In addition to donating food, we offer a low-cost CSA designed to target local and often forgotten middle-class families. During the height of our season, our farm also runs a small road side farm stand which sells freshly picked local produce, as well as local artisanal products from our farm and surrounding merchants to the high-end summer crowd visiting our area. All proceeds from the farm stand fund the charitable operations of Share the Harvest Farm.

We are hiring interns for the 2020 farm season. Preference will be given to, but not limited by, applicants with previous farming or farm stand experience. If you have any special skills, such as culinary, clerical, or technical experience, please be sure to describe them in your application.
