Position Title
Farm Crew Member
Position Description
2020 will be an exciting year of growth for Dirt Rich Farm as we scale up some while staying small! The farm was founded in 2015, growing a diverse array of vegetables on 2/3rds an acre of family land. We now own our own land and plan on having 2.5 acres in vegetable production in 2020. If you join our farm crew in this year, you'll work side-by-side with the farmers and participate in intensive vegetable production using a two-wheel tractor and hand tools, care for hobby-scale dairy goats and laying ducks, work on farm infrastructure projects, and continuing the adventure of teaching ourselves about culinary mushroom production.

We need seasonal farm crew members from approximately late April or early May through late October. Prospective farm crew members do not need to be available for the whole season, but we are looking for people who plan on staying at least 10 weeks. Previous farm experience is a plus but not required. Employees will receive $11.80-$13.25 per hour (depending on experience) for about 40 to 50 hours per week of work and as much of the farm's excess produce, duck eggs, and goat milk as desired. Inquire about housing if it is needed.
