The New York Organic Action Plan is an ongoing initiative overseen by our Board of Directors to understand emerging issues in the world of organics. Its goal is to assure that NOFA-NY is taking actions toward its vision of a food and farming system that is socially just, environmentally resilient, and ripe with economic opportunities.
In 2012, NOFA-NY developed a draft New York Organic Action Plan, based on member surveys in 2010 and 2011. The results of 6 years of consultations will be available in the spring of 2017. Stay tuned!
